What GrovaKid Does

GrovaKid creates personalized K-5 worksheets for your child. You create an account, add your child's name and grade level, and our AI generates worksheets matched to their skill level. You print them, your child completes them by hand, you scan them back, and we grade them instantly.

What Data We Collect

• Your account: email address (via Auth0 login)
• Your child's profile: first name, grade level
• Assessment scores: results from adaptive skill quizzes
• Worksheet data: generated questions, scanned answers, grades
• Usage data: pages visited, features used (via Mixpanel, authenticated users only)

What We Do NOT Collect

• No photos of your child
• No audio or video
• No location data
• No data from unauthenticated visitors (analytics only runs after login)

How We Use Your Data

• Generate worksheets calibrated to your child's skill level
• Track your child's progress over time
• Improve the quality of generated content

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with other families or schools.

COPPA Compliance

GrovaKid is designed for parents to use with their children. We do not collect personal information directly from children under 13. The parent creates the account, the parent adds child profiles, and all child data is tied to the parent's account. Children do not interact with the app directly — they work on printed paper worksheets.

Parents can review, update, or delete their child's data at any time from the dashboard, or by contacting us.

Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate GrovaKid:

• Auth0 — authentication (login/signup)
• Neon (PostgreSQL) — database storage
• Vercel — web hosting
• Anthropic (Claude AI) — worksheet content generation only
• Mixpanel — usage analytics (authenticated users only, bot-filtered)

These services process data as needed to provide their functionality. We do not share your data with any other third parties.

Data Retention

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (including child profiles, assessments, and worksheets) is permanently removed within 30 days.

Your Rights

• Access your data from the dashboard at any time
• Update or correct your child's profile information
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Request a copy of your data
